When not engaged in the political science, I can be found
riding my bicycle around Northeast Georgia, admiring the numerous chicken farms
and looking for peach trees.
My wife and I are looking
forward to receiving a call from the Chinese government
telling us we can come get our adopted daughter. We started the process
almost two years ago. We are
working through CCAI. We had expected to bring her home by now
but the recent
adoption-kidnapping scandal in China, along with the seemingly insatiable
demand for adopted children in the U.S. catching up with the (still voluminous)
supply of orphans in China, have slowed down the adoption process considerably.
In addition to cycling and Chinese children, we are advocates of greyhound adoption. Tell your friends and family that retired racing greyhounds make excellent pets. We have two at home, Mr. Floppy and Iroquois (their original racing names).
